Da Lat Dalat is located in the South Central Highlands of Vietnam. When you are in Dalat, you will find that this province is quite different from other provinces in Vietnam. It has everything French because it was how the former French colonists treated it. Dalat is small compared to other provinces and is surrounded by waterfalls, lakes, gardens and endless forest. Dalat's high altitude of 1500m to 2000m helps it to become one of the main agricultural production land in Vietnam, producing mainly silk, vegetables, flowers, fruits, coffee and tea and they are sold all over Southern Vietnam. Tourism is the biggest contributor to Dalat's economy with about 1 million tourists, both domestic and foreigners coming here for holidays.
