Ho Chi Minh City
Formally known as Saigon, this city, which is the largest in Vietnam, has a
population of seven million or so inhabitants and it is also the main commercial
city of Vietnam. Like the saying goes, "If you have not been to Saigon, you have
not been to Vietnam at all". Ho Chi Minh City is considered the best place in
Vietnam for entertainment. Comparing to its Capital, Hanoi, the colourful night
life here consist of bars that open till late into the night. Taxis are aplenty
and not expensive but the best way to see the place is actually by foot because
of the massive jams with miilions of motorbikes and numerous cars on narrow
roads, you could reach your destination faster on foot.
