La Fourchette was founded in April 1994, by Jean Luc, a Frenchman from Avignon. Since then, the place has earned an entirely justified reputation as the leading French restaurant in Saigon city.

Located downtown, near Dong Khoi street and Majestic Hotel, la Fourchette atmosphere is inspirited by Parisian’s brasseries and French provincial restaurants style. The place is organized around a simple and clean table settings, 60 daily covers catering, a ground floor, with bar and more, and a first floor, the non-smoking area, perfect for family or for a quiet business lunch.

Jean Luc is associated with Christophe, a French Chef. They offer a daily menu or à la Carte, with a wide range of French traditional recipes. La Fourchette suggests a complete wine cart, from ordinary Merlot to old Bordeaux and Chateauneuf du Pape.
