Description / Overview

Not very well decorated, the place looks a little bit rundown...but it is significant to the Vietnamese culture. The tables and chairs are not as nice as those you find in the posh restaurants. The tables are the normal stainless steel foldable ones and the chairs are the red plastic ones.

The food however, are served hot and delicious. If you are game enough to try, hop on down to this place for a truly Vietnamese flavor meal. They cannot speak English, but you can get by ordering your food but just pointing to them. They do not have a wide variety of food. It will help if you see someone just started eating and you can just point to their noodles to order yours. They will understand what you want.

This place is just wonderful. After seeing the recommendation from Travelallinone.com, my husband and I decided to give this place a try.

We were the only foreigner there. Everybody were looking and staring at us, probably thinking, how did we get to know about this place....

We went in, the place, to our surprised, were quite clean but the tables and chairs were quite low for us. A friend told us after that, that this is typical of Vietnamese eating culture.

We pointed to the noodles and made a hand signal for 2 bowls. To our surprise, the owner actually pointed to two different types of ingredients, telling us to try two types of noodles. We obviously nod our head in agreement hoping that we had the same understanding.

true enough, the noodles arrived, one was their popular dish, the crab noodles and the other one was beef. Tasted very delicious.

We will definitely come back to try again if we are back in Vietnam.
