A family-run business, Nhu Y specialises in lacquer products,
but stants apart from the numerous other lacquer stores in town, as its
wares and hand-made locally and carry striking, brightly coloured art
designs which are hand-painted. Some pieces take three months to create. Nhu
Y's two small showrooms in downtown Ho Chi Minh City showcase its stunning
lacquer creations - many of these exported to Europe, Asia, the U.S and
Australia. It s specialises in copies of original paintings and artwork, and
motifs hand-painted onto various forms. Highlights include a series of
rectangular and square lamp bases ( ranging from small to larger sizes ) and
large lacquer paintings displayed gallery style - some huge. A recurring
signature is a combination of very light, bright colours painted in the
abstracted style. We have our own factory with a number of talent and experient staffs so you can sit back, knowing that your customize products will be in their best shape when it come to you. If the design is not satisfied you, we will adjust it as soon as possible so you or your customers will have no delay. Our lacquer designs include coasters, tissue boxes, wine bottle holders and boxes, plus unusual designs, like glass cup and saucers smattered with lacquer dots.
